Welcome to Nyhavns Færgekro
Tradition, served without ceremony
At Nyhavns Færgekro the herring is not a detail on the menu. It is a way of seeing the world. The herring table at lunch, the classics in the evening and a story in every mouthful. Down to earth and refined, without having to choose. In the early 1900s the steamship companies had their offices in Nyhavn, and at Nyhavn 5 the White Star Line sold tickets to the routes of the world. The Titanic windows, with “New York” scratched into the glass, are still here. Ask the staff. They know the stories.
