WINE TASTING WITHOUT SNOBBERY
Join an informal wine tasting at the long table, where we dive into the world of wine without the heavy technical detail. It is about taste, atmosphere and good company. Every evening has its own theme, and you do not need to be a wine expert, just up for tasting, listening and enjoying the evening in good company.
The evening’s theme is put together with our wine supplier, Vinslottet. We travel around Spain and France. Whether it is bubbles, white, red or rosé depends on the theme of the day.

Wine tasting calendar
France is the reference point for wine when it comes to quality, tradition and terroir. This evening we take you on a tasting journey through the country and show how style and expression change from region to region. You will taste everything from fresh, mineral wines in the north to fruitier, deeper expressions further south. An atmospheric evening that gives a broad picture of why French wine still sets the standard the world over.
Pinot Noir is one of the world’s most iconic grapes. This evening we focus on the grape’s many expressions and the variation that arises depending on region and style. From light, fresh wines to more complex, structured versions, the tasting shows why Pinot Noir is loved by wine enthusiasts everywhere. An evening about balance, elegance and classic French winemaking.
This evening is for you if you know what you like but not quite why. We taste our way through five wines and five words: fresh, round, juicy, elegant and powerful. Along the way you find out which style your own palate actually prefers, and you pick up a small vocabulary to use next time you are holding a wine list. No exam and no wine snobbery, just a cosy evening where you go home a little wiser.
Meet one of the world’s most characterful grapes at a tasting where we dive into the many expressions of Sauvignon Blanc. From crisp, mineral wines to more aromatic, fuller interpretations, taste how climate, soil and the winemaker’s craft shape the grape’s character. You get to compare selected wine regions and discover why Sauvignon Blanc is one of the world’s most loved white grapes.
One of the biggest revelations in wine is that the grape matters a lot, but where it grows matters at least as much. We travel from cool Mosel and Burgundy to sun-ripened Rhône and Roussillon and taste what climate does to a glass of wine. Along the way you discover that the same grape can behave completely differently depending on its address. An evening for anyone who wants to understand why two wines from the same grape can taste so different.
We taste our way through Spain’s wine landscape, from the cool highlands of Ribera del Duero to the steep slate slopes of Priorat and the sunny fields of Terra Alta. Spanish wine is known for intensity, warmth and personality. You will taste everything from crisp, mineral white to deep, dark reds with power and finesse. An evening for anyone who likes wines with character and plenty of flavour.
This tasting is Huks Fluks to the bone: wine bar, snacks, Basque inspiration and knowledge you can use. You get five rules that solve a great many dinners, about salt, acidity, fat, light reds and intensity, and you test them in practice with small Basque-inspired bites for each glass. Food does not change the wine, but it changes how you experience it. An evening you can use at home on Friday night.
Sparkling wine is much more than something for special occasions. This tasting focuses on the different styles and traditions found around Europe. You will taste differences in flavour, freshness and character, from dry and elegant to fruity and light. An obvious evening for anyone curious about bubbles who wants to look beyond the familiar.
How do you read a French wine bottle when the grape is not always on the label? This evening we crack the French code and move step by step from Vin de France through Burgundy to village and Premier Cru. You learn what Domaine, Château, Vieilles Vignes, Cru and AOP actually mean, and why French wine often tells you the address before the grape. After this evening the wine shelf looks a good deal less mysterious.

Can you taste what you pay for? All five wines are served blind, and for each glass you simply answer: everyday wine, a level up, or premium. And more importantly: would you pay more for it yourself? Along the way we talk about what actually makes wine expensive: address, soil, yield, producer and demand. An entertaining evening that challenges everyone, the experienced too, and ends with the most important judge of all: your own taste.
