Historic surroundings, tucked away from the pulse of the city, in our oldest townhouse from 1664. For the intimate wedding with room for long conversations in front of the fire in the courtyard.

For us, a good meal has always been a meeting point. At a wedding it becomes the setting for speeches, toasts, conversations and everything that happens around the table.

We tailor the wedding menu to the season and your wishes, from welcome bubbles in the courtyard to late-night snacks. Wines are chosen for each course, and together we find the menu that suits your wedding party.

Frequently asked questions

Here are answers to some of the questions we are asked most often about weddings at Tholstrup:

Yes. Several of our rooms can be hired exclusively, and for larger parties the whole restaurant can be yours. We advise on what suits your number of guests.

From the intimate dinner to parties of up to around 100 guests, depending on restaurant and room. Tell us your number and we will suggest the setting.

Yes, we pair wines with each course, and we can do alcohol-free with the same care.

Yes, in several of the rooms you can play music and dance. We will talk through the options for your particular party.

Several of our settings suit a civil ceremony on the spot, for example the courtyard. Ask us and we will help with the practicalities.

All four restaurants are in the old town, with hotels in every price range within walking distance. We are happy to point you to good options.
